Flooring It Then Immediately Braking

Have an assistant pump and then hold firm pressure on the brake pedal.
Flooring it then immediately braking. Pedal is okay then sinks to the floor. So i just installed a rough country 6 inch lift on my 03 silverado 1500. It can still brake but i have to press the pedal almost to touching the floor. You have stopped in a safe place.
If you start to notice that over time the pedal requires increased effort in order to achieve the same amount of braking force then that may be a sign of a possible issue with the abs module. A common example is you might find the brake pedal goes to floor but still works. The abs light is on. Recently the brake pedal goes extremely soft after the anti lock brake system engages.
But worry not this maintenance guide will give you the steps to troubleshoot and fix this issue of brake pedal goes to floor in under 45 minutes. My 2005 honda cr v driver side rear breaks are eating up the brake pads i have to change them every 2 to 3 weeks what could be causing this problem. You brake and the pedal goes all the way to the floor. It will stay soft a while at least 20 min probably longer but i found that if i pump them hard a few times like while at a red light it then returns to normal.
When i got everything put back together it was time to bleed the breaks. I unhooked all the break lines at the calipers to do the lift. It should be very easy to press down on and once pressed should have an immediately noticeable effect in slowing the vehicle down. Any info would help.
Brake immediately to avoid tire. Eddie carrara author from new hampshire on december 05 2018. Turn off the ignition. Pump the brake pedal hard and fast.
Loosen the rh front disc brake caliper bleeder screw until a stream of brake fluid comes out. As you apply the foot brake the pedal goes to the floor. Attach a rubber drain tube to the rh front disc brake caliper bleeder screw and submerge the free end of the tube in a container partially filled with clean brake fluid. Rhonda on december 11 2018.
