Floor lamp connection loose. I want to try to find replacement electric socket parts to get them both working properly again. Table lamps are essentially decorative elements and a light fixture threaded onto a long metal rod with a nut at the bottom. It looks like the base section has screw threads that are stripped so it leans over and falls apart if you try to pick it up to move it. I have 2 electric aladdin table lamps that belonged to my grandparents. 1 is a lily of the valley design and the other is a lustre lamp both with night light sockets to them. If not take it apart again and proceed with the following steps. If the lamp works after you tighten up the screws great.
